What standard is the Villa?
Unlike hotels there is no agreed standard classification of villas across the
region, However, it is extremely important that we are able to meet our
guests' expectations. We have undertaken a quality assessment of the villa
which can be found here: Villa quality assessments, We also are members
of and inspected by JAVA, the Jamaican Association of Villas and
Apartments which is the villa link to the Jamaica Tourist Board and has it’s
own set of standards that member properties must meet.
The decor is simple painted white.
The bedding is high quality cotton -
The bathrooms have basic cupboards, cabinets and shower over tub
There are TVs in the bedrooms which are linked to the Cable network
Each room has attractive wooden plantation chair seating
Two of the guest rooms have solid mahogany / teak poster beds
The lounge has mahogany/teak plantation seating and dining room a round
mahogany table - that seats eight.
The kitchen has basic cabinetry and appliances - microwave,
Fridge/freezer, cooker, coffee maker.
The villa has its own well-maintained swimming pool which has been a
winner with our past guests.
In addition, our rate includes a full-time housekeeping service - the
cleanliness of the villa is often commented on.
We also make it very clear to our guests that Sencillo is a simple affair.
The property itself is more than 20 years old so we cannot claim that it is
modern - mod cons are limited to Air conditioning, coffee maker, microwave
and televisions, DVD/CD player etc
