What are the Entry Requirements for Jamaica?

Entry requirements are usually determined by your originating Country.  
Please contact us if specific information regarding Entry Requirements to
Jamaica.  

•        UK, Australian, New Zealand & South African nationals:
Valid  passport with six months left to expiry on the date of travel.

•        US citizens:        
Tickets and documents available for onward travel; No visa is required for
stays of up to six months.  A valid passport is required to re-enter the U.S.
(until January 2008 a certified US birth certificate with raised seal and
current, government-issued photo id. may be used in lieu of passport)

•        German Nationals:
German nationals must have a valid passport. No visa is required for a stay
of up to 90 days, provided the purpose of travel is tourism. If travelling on
business, a visa is required.

•        Canadian citizens:
Canadian citizens require a passport. Any documents that establish
nationality and identity, such as a Certificate of citizenship or an original
Birth Certificate with an official photo ID, are also accepted if the reason for
travel is tourism. No visa is required.

•        Irish Nationals:
Irish nationals must have a valid passport. No visa is required for a stay of
up to 90 days, provided the purpose of travel is tourism. If travelling on
business, a visa is required.

•        Japanese Nationals:
    Passport with six months left to expiry.  Visa is required for stays over 30
days.

•        Russian Nationals:
Russian nationals must have a valid passport. Russian Nationals must
apply for a visa at the Port of Entry the cost of this is (at the time of writing)
US$20.


All visitors are required to travel with a round-trip or onward airline ticket.
